Coach of Robotics Invention Team:
2021-2022 will be my eleventh year of teaching and seventh year at Harts Bluff ISD. As the middle school technology and high school instructor, I get to spend my days coding, playing with robots, diving into computer science, and facilitating STEM projects. I also have experience in teaching first-sixth coding, seventh/eighth robotics and computer science, fifth grade science, fourth and kinder ESL, and fourth grade general education.
Prior to working at “The Bluff” I was employed at MPISD, on the Annie Sims campus, for four years. I have also spent many years teaching Sunday School classes at our church, Harris Chapel Missionary Baptist, along with VBS classes and church summer camps.
My husband and I are high school sweet hearts and have been married for 15 years. Together we have a daughter, a son, and countless pets!
Our family is very active and we spend much of our free time outdoors fishing, camping, gardening, or going on hikes. I am a nature lover, rock hounder, and avid reader.
