WELCOME!  My Name is Norma Ramirez and I'm very passionate about bilingual education.  Bilingual Education is truly what I hope to devote the rest of my life learning about to make it greater in hopes that one day, we will have a world full of bilingual and biliterate individuals because as Frank Smith said, “One language sets you in a corridor for life. Two languages open every door along the way.”

Dual Language programs have proven to close the learning achievement gap for ALL students enrolled in these type of programs. Through these programs, students become bilingual, biliterate and they learn to value and accept multiple cultures.

I hope to provide valuable information about Harts Bluff-Dual Language Education program and how this program supports the development of the second language by allowing students develop in their native language.
