The proposed bond package will focus on safety and security improvements, growth in student enrollment, capacity issues, and evolving student programs. The largest portion of the bond is dedicated to classroom additions at Harts Bluff High School and Harts Bluff Elementary School (The Little Red Schoolhouse). Both the high school and the elementary are currently over capacity.

The bond also includes a new gymnasium to serve both campuses, additions to the cafeteria, and a new music room. The new gymnasium will provide access to gym space for both the elementary school and the high school. The gymnasium will be utilized for a wide range of programs including elementary student activities and P.E., boys and girls basketball, cheer, volleyball, the Little Dribblers community basketball program, school assemblies, and community gatherings.

School safety rose to the top of the priority list for members of the committee. The bond places a heavy emphasis on safety improvements throughout Harts Bluff ISD including the following items:
