I am married to Claribel Banda. I have three kids Arsedalia Banks, Marivet Mejia, and Bryan Banda Jr. I also have one grandson, Bradley Banks Jr. My father was a chaplain for Pilgrims and he brought us here to Mt Pleasant in 1994. I received my Bachelor’s in Business from TAMU-Texarkana in 2019 and currently working on my Master’s at UT Tyler. My son Bryan is a former student at HBISD.

When my son Bryan came to HBISD there was an instant positive change in his grades and attitude toward school. The teachers and staff are so caring about their students and when offered the opportunity to serve on the board I jumped at the chance. Now it is my turn to give back to HBISD. I am thrilled for this opportunity.
