Vice President

I was born and raised in the Harts Bluff community. Harts Bluff School is like a part of my family. My Aunt and Uncle taught here for over 40 years. My Grandfather was on the County School Board when Harts Bluff was formed. My parents were in the founding classes and my Father later went on to serve on the Harts Bluff School Board. I attended school at Harts Bluff through the 5th grade and all four of my children attended Harts Bluff. We have been privileged to see Harts Bluff grow from its humble beginnings, with just a few students, to its standing today serving over 600 students from Pre-K and starting Fall 2020 an early college high school. I am proud to be a part of the Blue and Gold. Go Bulldogs!

My background in Scouting has always led me to serve others. I can think of no better way to give back to the community that raised me than to serve on the Harts Bluff School Board. The Harts Bluff Board is made up of like minded individuals that want to see Harts Bluff ISD thrive in an age when public schools are seen by many as broken and beyond recovery. Harts Bluff stands as a beacon to others to what a public school education can be when the School Board, Administration, Faculty and Staff, and the parents and other concerned members of the community come together to support our common goal: Educating our Students to be Engaged, Energized, and Prepared.
