WELCOME TO HARTS BLUFF ISD!

  • STEP 1: Student Registration Online

    This applies to students that have not been enrolled in our campus at any point. If you already have a student attending HB please use the same account and click on enroll a new student.

    • Create a parent portal account. This account will be used for all students attending Harts Bluff ISD. Link Provided below:

    STEP 2: Documents

    The following documents can be uploaded to the Parent Portal, delivered to the HB school office, or emailed to parentportal@hbisd.net.

    • Proof of Residency (Utility bill, lease agreement). This will have to be within the last 30 days. 
    • Immunization Records
    • Birth Certificate
    • Social Security card
    • Guardian Picture ID

    If applicable:

    Transfer Students

    • Discipline report or letter showing there is not one
    • Attendance report
    • Signed transfer application
    • Test scores: Mclass/Benchmark (>3) STAAR (3-8) EOC/TSI (9-12)

     

    Enrollment is NOT complete until all documents are turned in. Please email all doucuments to parentportal@hbisd.net.

  • During Re-Enrollment, all students are required to provide proof of residence (POR). Approved proof of residency documents (see list below) must show the student’s current address. 

    Approved Forms of Proof of Residency

    Proof of Residency must be provided with one of the following items listed below. Each item must show a service address and parent name. 

    • Electric Bill
    • Gas Bill
    • Water Bill
    • Lease Agreement – newly established residency within the last 30 days (also used when you do not have a utility bill and the lease states bills are paid by leasor)
    • The lease agreement must:
      • list the sudent occupants
      • show a beginning and ending date
      • include the address of the property with signatures from both the leasor and leasee

    Submitting Proof of Residency

    Proof of Residency may be submitted electronically or in person at your home campus.

    • Online Submission – Upload files to ParentPortal account.
    • Email Submission – Email ParentPortal@hbisd.net and attach Proof of Residency. Student Names must be included in email.
    • In-Person submission – Bring Proof of Residency to campus office.

    Additional Information on Proof of Residency

    Changes to the Primary Residency

    If the primary residence changes after a proof of residency has been submitted to the campus, the parent/guardian must notify the campus. In order to verify your new address, we need a copy of a recent utility bill that shows your name and address. This bill must be dated within the last three months.

  • To be classified as new to the district, a student must NOT have been enrolled in a Harts Bluff  ISD school at any point. In order to enroll your child as a new student in Harts Bluff ISD, please complete the following steps: If you need help while registering, please contact the district registrar at 903.577.1146

    Steps: 

    1. Go to www.hbisd.net

    2. Click on Parent Portal or click link: Parent Portal

    3. Click the (Create Account) Tab

    4. Create an account with a username and password (Please keep this. You will need it often). 

    5. When the account is complete, it will take you to the parent portal and ask for the email verification code that was sent to your email address.

    6. Email Title “ParentPortal Email Verification” - click on - validate email

    7. You should see “Your Email has been verified successfully.”

    8.  Click “Return to login”

    9.  Login to the Parent Portal with username and password

    10.  Click “Enroll a new student

    11.  Complete steps 1-6

    12. Please upload documents to your parent portal

    Once you have completed the steps above, we will confirm the online registration and send you a letter to link your student to your parent portal. We will send you an email with this link. Linking your student(s) and completing the forms is the last step to completing the registration process.     Enrollment is NOT complete until Parent Portal registration and  all the documents are turned in. 


    Estudiante(s) nuevo(s) SOLAMENTE:

    Para ser clasificado como nuevo en el distrito, el estudiante NO debe haber estado inscrito en Harts Bluff ISD en ningún momento. Para inscribir a su hijo como estudiante nuevo en Harts Bluff por favor de completar los siguentes pasos.SI necesita ayuda durante la inscripción comuníquese con la registradora del distrito al 903.577.1146

                   Pasos:

    1. Ir a www.hbisd.net

    2. Haga clic en Portal para padres o en el enlace: Parent Portal

    3. Haga clic en la pestaña (crear cuenta nueva)

    4. Cree una cuenta con un nombre de usuario y contraseña(consérvese. Lo necesitaría con frecuencia.)

    5. Cuando la cuenta esté completa, lo llevará al portal para padres y le solicitará el código de verificación por correo electrónico que se envió a su dirección de correo electrónico.

    6. Título del correo electrónico “Verificación del correo electrónico de ParentPortal” - haga clic en - validar el correo electrónico

    7. Deberías ver "Tu correo electrónico se ha verificado correctamente".

    8. Haga clic en "Volver al inicio de sesión"

    9. Inicie sesión en el Portal para padres con nombre de usuario y contraseña

    10. Haga clic en "Inscribir a un nuevo estudiante"

    11. Complete los pasos del 1 al 6.

    12. Cargue documentos en su portal para padres.

    Una vez que haya completado los pasos anteriores, confirmaremos el registro en línea y le enviaremos una carta para vincular a su estudiante a su portal para padres. Le enviaremos un correo electrónico con este enlace. Vincular a su(s) estudiante(s) y completar los formularios es el último paso para completar el proceso de registro.     La inscripción NO está completa hasta que se entregue el registro en el Portal para padres y todos los documentos.

    • Home Language Survey (if child has never been enrolled in a Texas School) (English)(Spanish)
    • Pre-K documentation of qualifying criteria (Parent Checklist for Qualifying Documents) 
    • Custody/Court Documents (if applicable)

    • Discipline report or letter showing there is not one (if coming from CDC)
    • Attendance report (if coming from CDC)
    • Signed transfer application
    • Test scores: Mclass/Benchmark

    If you are a Harts Bluff ISD full-time employee, Board Member, or have any other children that attend Harts Bluff please notify us via email at parentportal@hbisd.net with your attached documents including your student name and grade.

    Enrollment is NOT complete until all the documents are turned in.
