About Me

Education

Educational History:

I graduated from Brewer High School in White Settlement, TX. 

I graduated from Texas A & M- Texarkana College with a Bachelor’s of Science.  

Degrees and Certifications:

I am certified in Early Childhood development through fourth grade with ESL.  

I have taught at Harts Bluff since 2006. 

Professional Development:

I am currently a Seesaw Ambassador.  I currently strive to teach with the new teaching models and technology.  

Current Position:

I have also dreamed of becoming a teacher.  I worked at many daycares along with a private school in Ft. Worth.  I completed my student teaching at Paul Pewitt Elementary in 2006.   I began my teaching career here at Harts Bluff in 2006.  

Family Information:

I have been married to Doug Clay Jr.  since 2001. He is a firefighter at Sulphur Springs.  We have two children.  Kaylee and Brody. I have one dog named Harley. We enjoy spending time with family and attending our church at Bar Nun Cowboy Ministries.
