Secret Agent Training - August 2013

Welcome to Secret Agent Training

Dear future HBISD agents,

A lot of questions have swarmed around what Secret Agent Training means.  Up until now, I have been unauthorized to share any details with you in order to protect the mission.  Recently clearance was given from Command Central, so I can now share some details with you regarding the AUGUST 14th and AUGUST 20th training camps.

In order to protect agents still working in the field in preparation for the trainings, I can only tell you the following information:

GOAL:  To build a community of learners

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY:  It is important to the mission for all teachers to be IN THE CAFETERIA no later than 7:45 on their assigned camp day.  When you enter the cafeteria, you will need to check in at the required table to receive your credentials for the day.  After that you will be able to grab breakfast, mingle for a couple of minutes and be ready for the day's events to begin.  The day is packed with events from beginning to end and we will need everyone to be in place in order to begin on time. The day is scheduled to end at 3:30.

  1. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided for everyone involved.
  2. Short bathroom breaks will be provided several times throughout the day.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

  • Please plan to be involved all day.  In order to complete the mission, all teachers will need to be fully engaged all day.  There will not be opportunity to work in your room, eat in the lounge, or leave campus.  Again, for the sake of the mission, we need all attendees fully engaged all day.
  • If you changed grade levels, your assigned day may have changed also.  Please see the list below to determine what day you are expected to attend.  As was stated before, if you cannot come on your assigned day, it is your responsibility to contact someone scheduled on the alternate day and switch with them and then notify Mark (montgomerym@hbisd.net) of that change.
