Hello!

My name is Mrs. Johns I am so excited to be the ESL Pre-K teacher for this school year. I was born and raised in McAllen, TX (thats over nine hours from Mt. Pleasant!). I made my way to East Texas when I attended Stephen F. Austin State University in 2013. I graduated with a bachelors in English in 2017. I have always had a passion for languages and I look forward to sharing that with our students.

Me llamo Mrs. Johns. Estoy muy emocionada de ser la maestra dePre-K. Nací en McAllen, Tx (casi nueve horas desde Mt. Pleasant!). Me mudé al este de Texas cuando atendi mi unviversidad, Stephen F. Austin State University en el 2013. Me graudé con mi licenciatura en Inglés en el 2017. Siempre he tenido una passion de estudiar idiomas y espero compartir eso con nuestros estudiantes.

I taught in Spain for two years from 2018-2020. I lived and taught in Jerez de la Frontera and Ourense. This was an amazing opportunity that provided me a wonderful teaching experience. I enjoyed my time in the classrooms and appreciate all the experience those two years gave me to become the teacher I am today.

Fui una maestra en España durante dos años desde el 2018-2020. Viví  y enseñé en Jerez de la Frontera y Ourense. Esta fue una oportunidad increíble que me dio una experiencia maravillosa. Disfruté mi tiempo en los salones y aprecio toda las experiencias que me dieron esos dos años para convertirme en la maestra que soy hoy.
