Message form Dr. Bobby Rice
Hello, Parents of Harts Bluff’s 2026–2027 Bulldogs and Harts Bluff-area drivers,
Tomorrow, August 12, begins an exciting new chapter in the lives of our students. I hope every student is eager to be on campus, though I know some may also feel nervous about new classrooms, teachers, and friends. The first few days of school are not as routine as the final days in May. Many parents will drive their children to school or walk them inside. During afternoon dismissal, families may wait in 100-degree weather while our staff carefully ensures that every student is placed on the correct bus or released to the appropriate person. We ask for your prayers and patience as we welcome students in the morning and safely dismiss them in the afternoon. Please know that the safety of your children is our highest priority. Every decision we make will be based on what we believe is safest and best for them. Please remain alert for flashing school-bus lights, as bus stops may have been added or changed since last year. Also, remember to slow down and obey the flashing school-zone lights.
Attached are our traffic-flow procedures for student drop-off and pickup. Please review them before arriving on campus.
We are thrilled to welcome every student back and look forward to our best year yet!
Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and continued support.
Bobby Rice
